The survivors song
No Sun by day,
No stars at night,
And Moon’s turned red
Its yellow light.
Just lonely winter winds
Are crying out.
No birds, no trees
On scorched Earth
There no one lives,
And only Death
Reigns in the toxic air
And poison ground.
There are no men
On land and sea
That seems the end
Of humanity
Has finally come
But we must feel no sorrow.
Must feel no sadness,
Feel no pain.
We can’t reveal
This World again,
But our children
Surely do tomorrow.
We’ve survived a nuclear war
We’re alone in the World.
But we need our planet to live.
We’d survive and believe…
2010
