Goodbye! My heart is full of grief
I'm lonely as before again
My life is dark, the light was brief
I'm under gloomy shadows' reign.
Goodbye!

Goodbye! Goodbye! I've set my sails
I steer the boat. I'm looking sad.
The cry of gulls, the songs of whales,
The white sea foam stripes on the sand.
The nature's farewell to me.
Goodbye! Just let it be.

A trouble threatens in the mist.
The waves are howling all the day
But they won't ever wash away
My love of you. Not in the least.
