Дух рабства кроется в кумирне и в Каабе,
Трезвон колоколов - язык смиренья рабий,
И рабства черная печать равно лежит
На четках и кресте, на церкви и михрабе.




The spirit of slavery lies in the idol and in Kaaba,
Ringing bells - the language of humility of slaves,
And slavery black seal still lies
On the rosary and cross, on the church and mihrab.
